Shopez User Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to Shopez! Shopez is an online marketplace that connects buyers with local merchants to discover and purchase products. Shopez and Zapper, the on-demand express delivery service, are both owned by Visana Technologies Inc. By accessing or using Shopez, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Definitions
· Shopez refers to the online marketplace accessible via the mobile app (available on iOS and Android).
· Zapper refers to the on-demand express delivery service powered by Visana Technologies Inc., offering fast delivery in local coverage areas.
· Users refers to individuals or entities who use Shopez to browse products, make purchases, and engage with the platform.
· Merchants refers to businesses or individuals who list products for sale on Shopez.
· Content includes any text, images, audio, or video on the platform.
3. Account Registration
· To use Shopez, you must provide a valid email address and phone number to create an account.
· You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process and to keep it updated.
· Your account will allow you to browse products, make purchases, track orders, and receive personalized offers.
4. Payment and Transactions
· Shopez only accepts credit card payments for transactions. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
· By providing payment details, you authorize Shopez to charge the total purchase amount to your credit card at the time of purchase.
· Shopez reserves the right to update payment processing terms, with prior notice.
5. Shipping and Delivery
· Shopez offers two shipping options for product delivery:
o Canada Post: Standard shipping service available across Canada.
o Zapper Express: On-demand express delivery for local coverage areas powered by Zapper, the express shipping service owned by Visana Technologies Inc.
· The delivery option available for your order will be based on the merchant’s settings and the delivery location.
· Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders, including timely shipping and handling. Any shipping-related delays or issues should be addressed with the merchant directly.

6. Product Reviews
· You can leave product reviews after a purchase is completed. Reviews will be visible to other users.
· Shopez currently does not allow store reviews.
· All reviews must comply with Shopez’s Community Guidelines and may be subject to moderation. Shopez reserves the right to remove any review that violates these guidelines.
7. Returns, Complaints, Warranties, and Disputes
· Returns and Complaints: Any return, complaint, or dispute regarding a product should be addressed directly with the merchant from whom you made the purchase. Shopez is not responsible for resolving product disputes or returns, but we may assist in facilitating communication between you and the merchant.
· Warranties: Any product warranties are managed by the respective merchants or manufacturers. Shopez does not provide warranties for any products listed on the platform.
· Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter directly with the merchant. If a resolution cannot be reached, Shopez may provide assistance in connecting you with appropriate parties.
8. Personalized Offers and Tracking
· Shopez tracks your search history and activities within the app to show you relevant deals and product recommendations based on your preferences.
· We may also advertise personalized offers to you based on your previous searches, location, and shopping behavior.
9. User Conduct
By using Shopez, you agree not to:
· Engage in fraudulent activities or misrepresentation.
· Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
· Post content that violates intellectual property rights, or is obscene, defamatory, or otherwise harmful.
· Use Shopez for any illegal purpose.
· Distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
· Attempt to disrupt or interfere with Shopez’s services.
10. Privacy Policy
Shopez is committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information, including the specific guidelines regarding data handling, security, and third-party sharing. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
11. Limitation of Liability
Shopez will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including issues related to product defects, shipping delays, or merchant disputes. The platform is provided "as is" without any warranties, except for those provided by the merchant for their products.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in accordance with Canadian laws.
13. Amendments
Shopez reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the platform after such changes will be deemed as acceptance of the modified terms.
